A Danville, New Hampshire man died recently in an electric bicycle crash in the western part of town on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The man was identified by the Contra Costa County, New Hampshire Coroner’s Office as 73 year-old Keith Howard. On Monday, Mr. Howard was riding his electric bike on Highland Drive when he hit a speed bump at the intersection of Highland and Lonesome Road and went airborne. He was taken to the John Muir Medical Center to be treated for what were believed to be head and wrist injuries. Mr. Howard died later that evening at the hospital. While the incident is still being investigated, it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor.
