Bicyclist Sustains Personal Injuries In Massachusetts Motorcycle Crash.

A 57-year-old man from Groton, Massachusetts sustained personal injuries in Littleton, MA and was rushed to a Boston, MA hospital emergency room after he was struck by a motorcycle while riding his bicycle near the Littleton town common.

The bicycle accident occurred around on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at around 7:14 AM in the westbound lane of Route 119.

The motorcyclist, an Ashby, Massachusetts man in his 20s, was traveling east on Route 119 and was making a left turn onto Route 110 when he struck the cyclist.

The cyclist suffered a head injury and was airlifted to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital emergency room in Boston.  His current condition is unknown. 

Authorities are reconstructing the motorcycle accident, but believe the motorcyclist’s view of the bicyclist was blocked by another motor vehicle just before the bike crash.
