Famous Self-Help Author Dies in Bike Accident.

Stephen Covey sold over 20 million copies of the book, “7 Habits of Highly Effective People,” when he began authoring self-help books in the 1990s. Tragically, Covey was killed at 79 years of age last month when he crashed his bicycle.

Covey was a husband, a father of nine, and also a grandfather of 52 children. He lived in Utah. Covey was riding his bike when he lost control and crashed. Though he was wearing a helmet, he suffered bleeding to his brain. He soon died from his head injury.

Covey wrote his last book, “The 3rd Alternative,” in 2011. He had three additional books on the best-sellers lists. He was also named one of the “most influential authors” by the Times and Forbes magazines.
